Geraldine "Gerri" Lazarre, CPA, MST
Gerri has been advising individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations on tax planning and controversy for more than two decades. She began her career in the audit and assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Miami before moving into private practice.
For over a decade she has focused on resolving tax matters through the appeals, audit reconsideration, offer-in-compromise, and installment-agreement channels — putting a technical understanding of tax law next to a practical understanding of how businesses actually run.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Howard University and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Miami. As principal of TriMerge Consulting Group, PA (dba TriMergeCPA), she formed TriMergeTax in 2009 to extend the firm's work into tax controversy and year-round advisory.
Gerri has resided in Miami for more than 30 years and has been active with the IRS VITA program and community nonprofits since her high-school years.
