CPA-led tax resolution, accounting, and business guidance for Miami owners and individuals who need more than a once-a-year answer.
An IRS notice often exposes bookkeeping weaknesses that were quietly building for years. A tax planning question is rarely just about the return — it shapes hiring, entity structure, financing, and how you take money out of the business.
Growth creates new compliance demands: multi-state filings, payroll thresholds, reasonable compensation, sales tax, or the first real set of financial statements a lender will read closely.
TriMerge evaluates the connected picture — the controversy, the books, and the decision the owner is trying to make — before recommending a course of action.
For IRS or state notices, audits, examinations, back-tax concerns, and other disputes requiring organized representation and a practical resolution strategy.

Geraldine "Gerri" Lazarre, CPA, MST
Gerri began her career in the audit and assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Miami. For more than two decades she has advised individuals, businesses, and nonprofits on tax planning, tax controversy, and financial management — with a particular focus on cases involving appeals, audit reconsideration, disputes, offers in compromise, and installment agreements.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Howard University and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Miami. She founded TriMerge in 2009 to give clients a firm that could handle the tax, the books, and the business decision as one connected engagement.
Gerri has volunteered with the IRS VITA program since her high-school years and continues to provide pro bono tax and accounting support to community and nonprofit organizations across South Florida.
Understand the immediate issue and the financial records behind it — the notice, the return, and the books all read together.
Build an organized, defensible course of action — representation, filings, or the corrective work the books actually need.
Establish stronger reporting, planning, and decision routines so the same problem does not return next year.
"TriMerge professionals have quick and practical solutions for even the most complicated federal and state tax questions. Their service is very professional and courteous as they understand your core business."
"Gerri and her team have given me personal attention to my business and personal taxes. She doesn't just do my end-of-year taxes — she encourages meeting through the year to keep books in order and run tax strategy sessions before year end. I highly recommend TriMerge."
"Gerri and her team are fantastic — quick, super professional, and totally on point with the numbers, which is most important. Great business strategists as well, bringing added value for our small growing business."
